My poor dog is in hospital tonight. The little fella (who is 18 after all) had his back legs fail on him today. Looks like nerve damage due to age. There's a small chance that it could be a problem with his spine and anti-inflammatories would fix it, which is why he's in hospital. However, they're going to let me bring him home later on tonight. As he would need 24/7 care if it is damaged nerves, it means I've got an unpleasant decision to make tomorrow.
It's such a shame as, even at his age, he was bright as a button and full of life. If the worst comes to the worst, at least I know he's had the best possible life a dog could have :cry:
