I had this weird dream. I was hanging out with an old friend, who I once had a sexual relationship with. We were on her couch and things were progressing nicely, but then her husband came in. But I thought they were divorced? (in my dream). He acted like he saw nothing, but I know he did. I hang around with some of our other friends who just show up. One thing leads to another and he attacks me, but I end up knocking him out. Then I'm scared that I killed him cause I beat him up real bad, but he's still breathing so I don't fret and I leave. I had to say goodbye to this friend, and it was one of the most profoundly sad moments of my life (this was one of those "way too real" dreams). But I realized it was all for the better - I was letting myself be handicapped by her, by what we had and kind of still do. So I knew I had to move on, but I didn't want to despite knowing it was for the best.
What the fuck?
Course, before I got to her house I was John Walsh from "Wildest Police Chases" fame. I had a red Cadillac and followed the cops around to calls, only on the first call I ended up causing a near accident because some asshole wouldn't get out of the way of the police sirens. Maybe he was chasing the sirens too?
This all took place in my old home town of Boerne, TX. An awesome little 'suburb' of San Antonio (it's like forty-five miles away, even more so if you measure from the otherside of the city) but most everybody commutes, so I guess it's technically a suburb. Beautiful, beautiful town. Lots of antique shops and all. If it didn't cost so god damn much to live there, and it was South of SA instead of North of it, I'd live there.
I need to go take care of a tech problem with a buddy's website. Will write more later.
