My God, those catfish baits I've been waiting on got here today. One of them smells horrid beyond description. You open it and smell nothing, so you lean in closer, and still smell nothing. You keep leaning in until your nose is just about to touch it and smell a little of something. Just a hint. But it's when you close the can and walk a few steps that it finally hits you; like a frying pan in the face. And the smell permiates your house like a noxious gas. I got some on my finger and am afraid my finger my rot and fall off....if this doesn't catch catfish, nothing will.
The other bait, however, smells wonderful. Like jager. Hmmm....jager....licorice is a beautiful smell.
Also bought a kiddie pole today - a tiny little thing for catching crappie and perch. Got a chance to talk to a representative of the Shakespeare fishing company. How often does that happen? So I filed a complaint about their lack of selection, and then wrote on there how much their company kicks ass, even if some of their selection sucks.
Wish my fishing license was still good, I'd go out to the lake for some fishin'. Will have to do it tomorrow after school (good thing I get out early, or the anticipation might murder me!).
