could nip/tuck be any cooler? clever, i believe, is the word the english would use. yes, that's it: clever. holy shit, julia's husband is so fucking smug and shitty and cool it's almost inspiring. I would be the exact same way if I were in his situation - having found out my seventeen year old son was really the love child of my wife and my best friend/business partner.
holy shit, they're actually showing them remove and replace this chick's eyeballs...that's insanely disturbing a la "Event Horizon". jesus, this show is cutting edge. it really is. Rupert Murdoch is a genious, and an inspiration to all aspiring businessmen such as myself.
oh, such an ugly word, that; "businessman". conjuring up such horrid images of plain white styrofoam coffee cups that, over the years, meld into permanent coffee mugs with little golfers or fishermen painted on the sides. white collared dress shirts faded and worn at the seams - slowly building yellow sweat rings on the collar. trashcans full of empty dime store ball point pens and crumpled up spiral notebook paper. headaches brought on by the incessant, constant buzz of cheap flourescent light bulbs.
then again, there's the good side; the family sedan, the dirt smeared cheeks of your baby boy who spent the day in the yard, the smell of home cooking forever permiating the halls of your cookie cutter home, the obligatory weekends down at the coast or Six Flags, the constant drained feeling of a parent...you know, all the things that make life worth living.

why can't Texas be a swing state for the election? all the cool stuff happens in swing states. case in point; Ani DiFranco is doing a swing state tour. having missed last years concert in Austin (which I'm told was one of her best shows ever), I was a little miffed that she isn't coming to Texas again this year....argh, damn these neo-conservative bastards chasing off all the cool acts! the only acts who come through San Antonio are either super conservative or ultra liberal (and they're just doing it to piss off the super conservative - take Marilyn Manson as a great example).
well, i better go. nip/tuck's on again, and i still haven't done my algebra homework...i swear mathematics is the single most useless thing i've ever learned (and this is coming from someone who not only makes his living as a handy man/construction worker, but also used to work in one of the top pathogenic labs in the world). i have yet to use anything beyond basic geometry in a day-to-day setting. how many times will i ever use the formula to get the square root of an isiciles triangle that stretches ten feet in front of a train leaving dallas at noon, and five feet behind a train leaving st. louis at three in the afternoon, with an average speed of 34.56 miles per hour??
