Went to the lake again. Got there about five-thirty in the AM. I WOULD have been there right at five when they open but my stupid ass forgot the one thing I needed the most - the fucking bait! So I had to stop at Evil-Mart for worms and chicken livers (never tried it as bait before, but everyone says it works - it didn't work, but nothing worked today). Fishing sucked ass. I caught nothing but perch (none big enough to keep), sunfish and a red drum (finally), only it was fifteen inches too small to keep. Still, it's a cool fish to see - very pretty, actually.

I stayed more than twice as long as I expected to. My father slept on my couch last night. He was just going to sleep when I left, so I decided to stay at the lake later than usual to give him a chance to sleep. Plus, I'm a stubborn fuck and I can't quit until I'm ahead. I didn't get ahead, but I did go ten hours with no food or even a drop of water, so getting out of the sun was necessary. He wasn't home when I got back, but left a note saying he's going to stay at his house with his wife. Maybe they'll work things out - I secretly hope not.

Every way, I need to go put up some signs. On my way back I figure to stop and do a little fishing at the other lake. Fishing there will probably suck even worse than the other lake, but I have nothing better to do. Fuck it.
