The only thing worse than waiting on hold is waiting on hold for someone else. Well not really. I had several worse things happen to me today alone.

I'm going to see metric twice this week.

I took my aunt and uncle to the park and the botanical gardens. It's still beautiful, but it really made it clear how dry things have been lately. The grass was none too happy and everything seemed just a little wilted.

I just spent an hour looking at credit cards. I can get free airplane tickets and hotel rooms, weeeee!

I think I'll go to Europe.

There's blood on my sheets but none on my hands.

Four pints of ice cream in the freezer and no other food in the house.

I had a dream about chocolate soda and sailing. Much better than the nightmare I had about home made radios mistaken for bombs and activist detectives.

I'm off to pick a random subway stop and wander. Maybe a couple.

Hey everyone,

Just a quick note. Jase to the chase will be arriving on Wednesday the 21st in the afternoon. I am hanging about for at least ten days, so I know I will be seeing everyone at some point. However, I wanted to mention where I will be on Wednesday, the night I arrive.

My good LA buddy Zachariah is in town shooting his pilot for ESPN. While here he is going to play a few solo gigs. For those of you that don't know he is a kick ass musician and all around talented guy. The excellent Richie Hirsch over at Prohibition has been kind enough to let Zach throw down some tunes at 8pm. It would be really great if you could come out and see me (if you want they have excellent food) and at the same time support one of my really close friends too. Hell I'll buy you a drink!

Wrapping up another stay in another fabulous suburb. When the restaraunts are all part of the chain game who knows where I really am.
The five seasons was really good though, I had the venison.

If the skies are clear tomorrow I'm going to buy a camera at B&H, that will bring my total to three. Count it as a little bit of retail therapy to make me a little happier about reshouldering my crushing workload after doing jack and shit all last week.

the shot was taken at a rivermouth north of hilo on the big island. while my sister managed to bungle just about every other photo she took with my camera, she came though big time on this one.

ain't nothin wrong with a little retail therapy. we work hard enough for the loot we get, might as well turn around and make it work for us.

it's beautiful, but that's the same stuff that's made it much more difficult to get good oysters lately. i like oysters too much to let that slide, glowing ocean or no glowing ocean.

i've been antisocial too. we should hang out and be antisocial together.
