Quick update before bed. Last week was (and this week will be) completely crazy.
Last week was full of sewing pirate costumes and seeing The Skatalites (who are awesome... and old)
Friday was sapphic_plastic's much anticipated pirate party. Read a summary in her journal. I was surprised and pleased at how many people actually took to the theme and didn't just put on a CVS eyepatch and call themselves a pirate. Fun.

After not enough sleep on Friday night, jeebustheimpaler and I took off to meet Palo and boundcreature in New York to see The Anti-Nowhere League at CBGB. I was (and still am) dead tired, so I won't review the show here. I'll let boundcreate do that. Animal was, as always, in top form.
After not enough sleep (at Palo's sister's place) on Saturday night, we all got up so boundcreature could get back to NJ (and then PA) at a reasonable time. I spent the afternoon at the Natural History Museum waiting for jeebustheimpaler to pick me up in the evening after doing something else somewhere in the New York Area.
Please excuse the lack of coherent narrative. I need sleep. I'll fill in the details when I'm more well rested.

That's very funny. I never really worried about who I was chatting with. If they got creepy, I'd just leave, but I figured hey, we're both in it for the fun, and we can't see each other, so who cares? Course, guys do seem to freak out a little more than girls do when it's someone of the same sex talking to them..
