Poetry Journal:

dancing in light green cords,
her blond hair pulled back.
leaving only a wisp of bangs,
above her speckled eyes.

we mouth borrowed lines,
of every love that could've been.
inde-lyric flirtations
at a crowded show.

dancing like were all alone,
we turn to see the other singing along.
smiling when we catch
the other, looking our way.

our shoulders bump gently...

i am the boy that swoons
at all her shows,
mouthing borrowed lines
of free-verse heartbreak.
she is the girl that sings,
backed by casio-tone tapes
and rainbow projections,
against white bed sheets.
we are the two that smile
as she makes me blush
catching me dance,
unfettered from the crowd.

I think Venice's journal is going to keep me up tonight. It's not like I've been sleeping very well anyway. It's either the heat or this dull headache and this dull heartache that's been keeping me tossing and turning.

I'll just quote her, so I don't forget the phrasing:
Venice: "the more I think about it, the more it dissapears."

And it makes...

Okay, and now that you've elaborated, I get to say that that all makes perfect sense to me, too. "Stumbling my way through life from one fleeting sensation of love to the next. Just waiting for the next drink. And waiting and craving it but al the while, unable to come out into the light of it all."

And I'm glad I'm not the only person who refers to themselves as "we". blush

No, that's not just you. I get really excited about solving math problems. That's not to say that we aren't both crazy, but at least you aren't alone. I used to walk back to my dorm from Real Analysis practically jumping up and down with the excitement of it all.

Just finished playing one of those epic RPG's. Okay, so maybe it wasn't epic, it was only 40 some hours of gameplay. But the storyline was good enough that it carried the feel of epic-ness. I guess I'd qualify epic as 100+ hours of game play. And that's welcome to include the 15+ hours of leveling to beat that one optional boss that is nearly...

can't believe what i missed last night. but that's okay. no major loss as there is much in the way of photo evidence. i had chiocholate chip cookies for breakfast today. which, is almost, the best thing ever to wake up to. my sister is awsome.

yah??? how do you think i felt when i went to say hi to my sarah and i saw the picture from the bbq???

that bummed me out big time. she never told me seh was going, or anything. so i didnt know. i wish i would have gone. i guess maybe she didnt want to go wit me?

see, she was visitn her sister too, so i think she left, while i was still workin, so i wouldnt have gotten to go, it just wouldve been nice if shed mentioned it. not like she has to take me or anything, but i sure as hell would have loved it.

numerolgy. i dont "buy into" anything. i just know whats strangely accurate in it. nature is a rythm and a pattern, which is the only reason numbers can be applied to it. the numbers themselves arent the cause, merely the representation. a man made rpresentation.

eh...well have to talk next time i actually see you.

seems we could have worthy conversation. hey two more months and i should have my car completely dealt with. me and my lack of a drivers license. blah.

I just came back from the movies. I went to go see Howl's Moving Castle. (Sorry Kahlua I couldn't wait.) It's a Miyazaki animation. It was most excellent. But I love all of the Miyazaki that I've ever seen. My mom got it in her head that the whole family was gonna go watch it today. That's what I get for mentioning it to my...

I dislike dreams about thinks I desire but have never realy known. They are all together too bittersweet.

I always enjoy a dream. But not always the content of it.

My mechanic says that one day soon my car will have a major breakdown at which point it will be sent to he junk yard. frown
On one hand it's good to know that it's going to die soon but the indefinate time frame is a little nerve racking. It'd be nice if it made it through graduation....sigh. That's thinking way too far ahead.

Car needs mehcanic. Lots of smoke coming out of the tail pipe and al that good stuff. Also I think my vent fan is broken. So I'm worried it'll overheat and die on me. But it should be safe to drive for short in-city distances for a couple days. Then my mechanic can look at it. it'd be a lot more convinient if i could...
