Today I helped my friend Emily (and her boyfriend Christian) move into their new apartment. It ended up leaving me, not only physically, tired but emotionally as well. It's pretty much decided that Christian doesn't think much of me at all. And I try really hard to be his friend too but he really doesn't do much to help it aong. So this leaves me...

"We are always ourselves. It is only that sometimes we get lost between which self we are expressing and one takes control. And it is only when the rest are regained that we can feel like us again.

I have those moments where I think "this is it, this is what life is like happy" but they aways seem to fade. But I trust that they will return again. Like most things, it comes in waves until we can find a way to make it stay.

And, sometimes, you just have to scream it out.

Sweet Dreams."

Very well said. Excellent.

More funny dreams. Last night I met myself in a dream. But if that was me than who was I in the dream? This is going to bother me all day.

How's everyone else dreaming these days?
venice:
I'm not sure yet. I don't have plans at the moment. Only going up and coming back plans, but nothing in between. We shall see.

My dreams are intense as always. smile

I've been dreaming, rather frequently of late, dreams about something falling to earth. And the storm that follows. In one way or another all my dreams in the last week have pointed to a big change coming from somewhere beyond my current reality. Change is good. And the waiting is okay. It's the mystery of it all that is really killer. Anyway, enough esoterica babble....

Just got back from a Neko Case concert at Woodland Paek Zoo. It was awesome. About 30 minutes into her set it strated to pour rain and got really windy and cold. About half the crowd fled the scene. chuckle. But we stayed untill the very end and danced to try and keep ourselves warm. Neko Case has such an amazing voice that it was...

The following is a narrative: So here's my trip to Portland!

The purpose of the trip was to drop off my sister at Reed for the begining of the school year. But my dad has a hard time doing that without a little bit of a side trip as well. Thus, it was decided that I would ride down with them for the purpose of...

Oh, cause... um... it kind of looked more like an asshole and a penis... Sorry. I guess we know where my mind is... blush

Well yeah, it mostly is just about being more carefree. Maybe I should rephrase it, because people seem to be focusing more on the making out part than the other parts. it's mostly just a desire to be comfortable enough with myself that I can be comfortable with other people. You know how you can sometimes just cuddle with your friends, and it doesn't mean anything, you're just cuddling? Just that kind of thing. I'm really bad at it.

Off to Portland for a couple days. Mostly spending time moving my sister in to her place for the school year at Reed. But we'll find time to raid Powell's for our book type needs. i wish there was time to catch a shw or someting else but we'll see how it works out. too many variables to know for sure how it's going to...

Dude, we should hang out! I can be jealous of your sister for going back to school without me. Not that I'm any good at hanging out, especially in my present condition, and not like you'll have time... but it's still a thought.

today at work we had a guest speaker talk about the geoduck and the genetic diversity of the Puget Sound populations. Thoroughly interesting although his study was mainly inconclusive. It turns out that no one really knows how geoduck get from place to place. There's kind of a "black box" period before they start to burrow that no one knows about....

Tomorrow I will go...

But to go to Bumbershoot I would have to buy tickets to things, right? That would take so much effort and planning that I'm not sure I'm up for. I'll think about it. Someone else also suggested I come up there.

Yesterday my dad threw a big party to celebrate the release of his first book. it's called Punk Poems and was released by Ravenna Press. (A local publisher.) So it was a good reason to celebrate. there were almost a hundred people in my house last night though. So it was super crowded. The celebrants ranged from old friends to co-workers to my friends and...

Today is a busy day.

I woke up feeling lonely for whatever reason. It'll pass. It always does. I'll see Emily later today anyway. So that'll cheer me up. Also, dinner with Courtney tommorow. It's wierd running into people you knew in middle school. See, already feeling more loved.
fallfromgrace:
that's so awesome about your dad getting published!

I had a fun day yesterday with my friend Emily. We hung out at for a while and i helped her with some of her school work then we had dinner at her folks house. And after that we all went to an Ultimate (as in frisbee) game in West Seattle. The Japanese Men's team played against Sockeye, the local mens national team. It was...
