I realized that when I told her, "You don't owe me anything", that I struck upon a certain truth. I think that the truth in that statement is EXACTLY what makes Love so scary. That's the point, after-all. That you chose to be with that person; you didn't owe them your love or your care but you do it anyway. And simultaneously, they don't owe you their love/care but they give it to you anyway. That "anyway" and inexplicable choice of devotion is what makes up Love.

But, like most truths, this is obvious to any casual observer. It is however, a realization that is best achieved on ones own time. These words hardly do it justice. They fetter only a wisp of the truth that the mind once grasped.

In other words. Love kicks ass. Your own and the one you love.
