Waiting up for my friend to get off her plane and get to her home. It's like 85 deg still. Or feels it. So I'm dying here. But it's okay. The bed ain't any cooler and I couldn't sleep till i knew she was home safe.

Totally excited because the Bumbershoot schedule just came out. It's been reduced to a 3 day festival but that's all good. And, as usual, there is only really 1.5 good days. Chuckle. The power has been out at work this week. It won't be fixed until next week they say. So currently the entire building is running off of 3 diesel fueled generators. Each one got pulled up on a semi-truck. I kinda geeked out when I saw them and went all engineering jargon in my head. Lol. But all in all this means a relaxed week...

Filed for my passport yesterday. Which means at any given point I have a sporting chance of fleeing the country. Sweet.

Feeling a lot better today. The funk I've been in is starting to lift I think. Which is a good thing. But I still feel a little strange because I don't think I'll ever quite pitch the ideas and feelings I have about her. But that's okay. As long as she and I remain friends then I'll be just fine.
