Yesterday was a pretty cool day. I got a phone call from Elipsis shortly after I woke up and she decided that we were gonna hang out in between schooling sessions. I picked her up from school. She took me out to breakfast. I took her back to school. I went over my grandma's house 'til she was ready to get picked up again and then we watched Wall-E. I had been wanting to see it for quite a while and it was amazing. It was so nice to spend the first half of my day with my bestie. She really is amazing. I absolutely love her to death. The rest of the day I mostly spent in my room alone. I listened to a lot of hip hop. Jay-Z's "The Blueprint" is so sick. Anyway, later on in the night I went to Wing Stop with Caleb, Daniel and Abe. We got it to go and came back to my house and watched Casino Royale. It was a good day spent with good friends.
I just realized a little while ago that the end of February will mark 2 years of me being single. And while sometimes I enjoy it because it allows me to do what I want with music, I still miss having companionship. It sucks not having the partnership of someone who gets me. A person who understands why I am the way I am. Who loves me the way I love her. I miss having an intellectual connection as well as a physical connection with someone. And knowing that I will probably never have that relationship again hurts sometimes. I try to ignore the way I feel as much as possible but it's incredibly hard to do. I try to focus all my attention on music but I know that something's missing and a lot of the time I can't stand it. I think I'm done ranting now.
Cheers.
