Here he is:
Picked up my last full paycheck on Thursday, which was depressing to say the least. I dread to think what next month's pay will be like...
Finally got around to telling my boss that I was applying elsewhere and she was really sweet about it and said that she'd try to keep me on as long as she could and she'd also happily provide me with a reference.
I managed to get in touch with my friend/former supervisor over Facebook and she agreed to be my other reference.
References sorted, I managed to get the rest of the application done, although I noticed that they wanted the application e-mailed - but it had to be signed. Had to print off the entire 8 page application, sign it and then scan it back onto my laptop, saving it as a pdf, so that I could attach it to an e-mail.
Never mind, I got it done Friday morning, which was good as the deadline was 4pm Friday. Now we play the waiting game..
No other jobs I could apply for in the paper this weekend, as I don't have a driver's licence. Hopefully there might be something in next week's paper...
Made the most of having Wednesday off and went to see the new Oz film, which was awesome! Great special effects and good storyline too, with a few references to Wizard of Oz. it was made by Sam Raimi, so the main highlight of the film for me was the obligatory cameo by Bruce Campbell.
Got my phone sorted out at the moment, found a wi-fi booster app, which seems to do the job at the moment and my phone doesn't cut off from the signal as frequently as it was. This has been great as I've managed to be on Instagram more lately...
Not much else to tell really, missed Doctor Who today, due to having to work today and getting shopping on the way home. Will watch it on the I-player tomorrow, so it's not all bad...
Off tomorrow and Monday, working Tuesday through Thursday next week, and then I've got a long weekend to look forward to. It's kinda like being on holiday at the moment, only I'm not getting paid for it...
