that last journal felt really good to post.
i think that's all the closure i need.

anyway. driving the parents to the airport at 4:30 am. yikes. they're going down to make some minor adjustments to the house on HHI before we rent it out to vacationers and start capitalizing.

i, on the other hand, have no vacation time accrued yet, therefore, i get to play airport taxi [in mom's car, with the 24V DOHC...rawr!] and have a muchly-deserved long weekend [semi-] alone.

tomorrow brings all sorts of fun stuff, hopefully i'll get to see shaun of the dead, at least that's the plan. J. will be coming up here *gasps* and who knows what else will ensue. [the 30+ clause is still in effect, though. so none of that.] i'll start a fire maybe if it is cold enough. i'll probably have one for the party. mmm...fires.
