ok...so the pool party is postponed indefinitely. other household duties have taken precedence. this maturity stuff is for the birds.

ya'all are still welcome to storm the gates. i like having company.

had a really great weekend even though nothing really spectacular happened. saw mom and gramma off to london on saturday night, had dinner with an old friend, and promptly passed out. sunday was spent motoring around town with ash playing catch up and being girly. we finished up the weekend by watching some gory trauma show on discovery health in her dad's cushy apartment on central park south.

i miss her like whoa sometimes. it sucks when yr best friend isn't around the corner anymore. she leaves town on wednesday night. i think tomorrow night is going to be spent having dinner somewhere snazzy and then doing god only knows what else. i kind of wish i hadn't taken this new job so soon so we could spend more silly mid-week time together.

i revert back to my earlier statement about maturity.
