(Forgive me for momming you, but I've just overcome a sililar situation, and having to go through all the trouble and stress of pulling your grade back up to a C totally sucks.) Were the tests a large percentage of the overall grade? Hope not.
I know what you mean about your brain not being able to retain any information. I'm also with you being depressed about Bush being elected (AGAIN!!! Good god...). Just gotta take one thing at a time. Set all the short term stuff on the back burner and concentrate on the crap that's gonna mean something ten years from now: school.

I make this distinction because I can be a slacker at times, but I always bite the bullet and that what's coming to me.
