So, I'm back in Ohio now visting my family because my parents (although they are separated by a twelve year difference) had the decent forethought to have each others' birthdays two days apart. What pragmatic and helpful people they are!

Anyway, my daddio turned 60 today, which is a major mind fuck for me, but we had an awesome day today fishing on Lake Erie with beautiful weather and lots of fish (of which all were thrown back). And while I intensely dislike admitting this, I got sunburned on my nose and forearms.I mean, I'm Mexican; shouldn't that afford me some protection from the sun? Either way, It was a great day for all involved! So, Friday is the mom's birthday and I'm exceedingly excited about her gift and also about having the weekend to hang out with the whole family. Trips to see my fam are nice!
