I was about to write the most epic of all blogs.

A blog that would have stirred the emotions of you all. A blog that would put Tolstoy, Wright, Huxley, Hemingway and Ishmael Reed to shame.

But I had a brain fart and can't remember shit. Oh well...

Look what a friend gave me Thursday night.



Yummies.

Started rehearsal with the other band, the reggae band, this week. Went pretty good, consider the recording the singer gave me to practice had pretty shitty bass track on it, so I had to wing it at parts of the rehearsal. Still it was pretty good.

On the punk front (that should be a name of a band. Or a store or something), we're suppose to checking out this drummer today. Hope that goes splendidly as well.

OH! I checked out "Black Mama Widow" by Iceberg Slim from the library last week. It's really a biography of this black drag queen from the Chicago's South Side in the 60s. I haven't finished yet, but I like it so far. Oh, and if you're familiar with Slim's work, you know this is NOT his typical book, at least as far the protagonist goes.

So that's it I guess.
