Of course I would wait until right before we leave to make another update. 
My trip in a nutshell:
+ My doggie remembers me, and followed me everywhere (even up a mountain!)
+ I climbed a mountain (awesome pictures)
+ The weather (while hot) has been beautiful
+ The stars are gorgeous. I mean... wow... Milky Way? Check. Shooting Stars? Check. Satellite? Check.
+ My parents are awesome.
- It took forever to get to my parents house because plans were screwy
- I've spent most of the trip in a car because everywhere is so far away
- I was thrown from a horse (my ass still hurts)
- LittleFierceOne was thrown from a (different) horse.
- My (awesome) stepmother was thrown from the second horse (and knocked out - moderate concussion) and had to take a helicopter to a hospital in Tucson (3+ hours away, driving one-way). It was very scary... but she's okay.
- Our flight leaves at 7:35 am, tomorrow. It's a 3.5 hour drive to the airport. We have to leave here at about 2:30am.
- I'm leaving, soon.
There are more minuses, but the pluses outweigh them by far. It's been a great trip, and I'm sad to leave. But, I am pretty excited to be coming home... I miss kitties.

OMG so sorry I'm late. I'm beginning to think SG is the fun form of dishes. You gotta keep up with it or it gets all out of hand. Except catchin up on here is more fun and does not lead to pruney fingers.

So glad to hear the doggie remembered you and you two went mountain climbing. That is sweet. Post pics please!! At least one! I've never climbed a mountain before. Lucky
I've always wanted to see the stars over a desert. I almost typed "dessert" but I HAVE seen that. Hell I'm not sure I've seen a real desert. No. I haven't. I must do that soon.

We should hang out soon. For real. I finally saw Stranger than Fiction and it kicked butt and I thought how different our night would have been if we hadn't picked Borat. But really, we wouldn't have had all that time to chat!
