The summer is known for longer days... but I also feel like I have less time.
Went to Richmond, VA to visit LittleFierceOne's family for the fourth. It was nice, quiet... no fireworks, but we went to Maymont Park which was fun and very pretty.
Lately, between his class and both of us working and me trying to get things done for when I go back to school, we haven't had much time. My stepmom visited briefly last weekend and dropped off some camping equipment she didn't want anymore. Perhaps we'll use it at some point. It would be nice, and I've always wanted to go camping (but have never been).
I suppose no news is good news... but I can't help feeling like there's something else I should be doing. I suppose all I can do is wait for the school people to get up with me, but it's getting tiring. I'm in, and registered, and financial aided... it just doesn't seem like it should be that... easy, you know? There are some things I know I still need to do, but nothing major. Classes don't start until August 23rd... I should enjoy the time I have while I still have it.

Hmm...camping. Well, just don't go until closer to fall, cause the mosquitos alone will probably kill you, if the heat doesn't. Of course, I am a heat weenie. Don't know how that happened, as I grew up and lived most of my life in south TX, but there you have it, I can't stand the heat anymore.
