I want to watch a movie that will make me cry... I'm listening to the soundtrack from Schindler's List... a beautiful film. I have the urge to watch it.
I don't know... I suppose most people crave movies that will make them laugh, but sometimes I just want to cry. And if the movie is making me cry, when it's done, I can stop. When life makes me cry, it's a little harder to stop.
But the emotional release would be so good right now. I don't even think I'm too terribly depressed, just... so much going on. Happy, sad, frustrating, angering, tiring... a good cry would release so much that I just can't seem to get rid of.
The last movie that made me really cry was The Last Samurai. I cried like a little girl. I cried at Munich, also, but not as much. And I held back tears watching a movie with LittleFierceOne a few days ago... still don't know what the title was.
And after watching Ultraviolet (which made me want to cry, for totally different reasons), I really want something with substance. A film I can get lost in... one that will make me think, and laugh, and cry...
But I doubt that will happen tonight, as lovely as it would be.

Trust me, go get "Magnolia." If you've got an emotional trigger point of any kind, need a cry, that movie will find it.

Antoher on then. Life is Beautiful. If you're in the mood for subtitles.
