Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn't guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me.
Monday Monday, can't trust that day,
Monday Monday, sometimes it just turns out that way
Oh Monday morning, you gave me no warning of what was to be
Oh Monday Monday, how...

Well I woke up Sunday morning,
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,
So I had one more for dessert.
Then I fumbled through my closet for my clothes,
And found my cleanest dirty shirt.
An' I shaved my face and combed my hair,
An' stumbled down the stairs to meet the day....

I had become complacent with my current lot in life; I reached the understanding that it's not so bad. But I have listened to so many people bitch about their lives that it's upped my anxiety (I've always had a problem of taking another person's mindset as my own... I was meant to be an actor) to the point where I've got that Animals song...

That Animal's song reminds me of 'nam. I think it probably was in Platoon. Oliver Stone made some damn great movies (and I'm not sure what the last one was) but I have a couple I've watched recently. The Doors and Wall Street were the last. Wall Street is a damn good movie and I just got a 20th anniversary edition (actually some interesting things about that- to follow in my blog). There are a couple lines in that movie that have major significance to me- the relevant one here is "If you want a friend, get a dog" (internet friends are alright though

the last line made me chuckle.
Does a person ever change?
A friend and I are having an ongoing dialogue about religion. I hate religious conversations with religious people. They believe it is so important. I'm not talking about Faith and Belief; I am talking about churches and propaganda to reign in the ignorant/innocent and the fearful. Anyways, she's pro religion while I am a lapsed Believer. It's pretty funny from...

8 eights? you lost me... but hey I wanted to ask do you know how to make those nifty url graphics? I need to make one for my website. can they be made with adobe illustrator?
raen:
aw shit. well I swear that was due to sleep deprivation not smoking herb... I meant to write 8 sets! dang.
Fuck Embarq.
I just woke up an hour and a half ago having been in sleep mode for well over 12 hours. I have decided to stick to my ideas that drugs are bad. If it's not an antibiotic I ain't touching it. Anyways, I'm now preparing to hop in the Jeep and drive to Myrtle Beach. My mother's car is on its last toe (really, it...

You just haven't found the right herb yet. You gotta be in cali where you go in somewhere and there's all kinds of selection. and good luck with that car deal dude. But since you have some dough it seems, are you taking advantage at all of the circuit city bankruptcy clearance sales? I bought season 1 and season 3 of SouthPark (a little laughter is key to my survival here) at 30 and 40% off. There was a really cool LowePro photo bag that I wanted- was waiting for the last 3 to go on sale to 40% and then they were gone. It's really a cool bag, called the slingbag AW200 I think. It looks like a backpack but with just one strap more centrally located, and a hipstrap and some other funky kind of support... the idea of the thing being that unlike a backpack you don't have to take it off to get at your gear, you just swing it kinda under your arm and you've got access (B&H actually has a little video on there). well they have it for $90 so maybe later this year if things go well, lol. I think that's like the first time I've used that. thing is, even if I saw it there at 40% off it would have been a bad idea to get it b/c I'd be more likely to be out of cash before the end of the month and begging mommy time.
anyway, I saw BSG 2.5 there and although I get where you're coming from with the Lee and Kara story, it is afterall TV. and they did a damn good job with that thing. a helluva job. I've watched all the podcast or audio commentaries on the dvds (up to 4.5 now) and when I hear how a script started out or just a lot of the detail behind the making of- I mean you really appreciate what they've done. My bro called me a couple times from Jordan to tell me how kick ass 4.5 is. I'm like fuck that's great dude, but you know I do actually work and why don't you call me on a Sunday for once? Saturday is like a work day for me too, but I do try to slow down on Saturdays. Speaking of work....

Did you win the powerball thing, eh?! wtf is that anyway? and your right tv does usually suck. so your fears are warranted... but like I said I've heard BSG just gets better.
I walked into Wal-Mart this morning looking to kill some time before meeting some coworkers. I was greeted warmly enough and replied the same. Then I was informed that they do not allow people to carry bags "back there" meaning the depths of the store. I stopped, pondered a reply and thought of the past three years I have been entering that particular store never...

yeah Wal-Mart sucks a nasty asshole... always has. I have been disgusted with corporate America for a long time. and can honestly say it is not just because they have crippled the business of freelance photography. and polluted the earth to no end. they've acted with no regard for human life, been free NOT to follow laws that govern people (because they are the principle driving force in shaping public policy) yet they have taken advantage of laws that were meant for people. they have gamed the system, taken over the system. stolen millions of course and continue to get away with it... end of rant. at least Obama instituted some lobbying reform. that was pretty cool. well let's see now if there are enough dems in congress with a spine to pull things together a bit at least.
escape seem to be the only answer. but it is only an answer for that short interim of escape. move, shift in different environments, indulge, enjoy when you can. can I do those things and get enough work done to ever progress before the end? only time will tell I suppose.
did you get an actual job offer or is the guy putting out feelers? 2x salary? sounded like you hate your job anyway. I would highly suggest getting the fuck out of carolina. I won't even capitalize it. by the way, I've had some nice escapism in season 4 of BSG. my bro got me the 4.0 disks for xmas. I think I'll wait a while before I watch 4.5. I don't want it to end you know.

In our office we used to bring in our laptops in to play music and check on telemetry based information (ironically very little personal browsing was ever done). The Bitch of the office, we all have to deal with one, blew the whistle on that (the protocol we now have to follow is more dangerous to patients than if we were endlessly typing on portables,...

Bitches, man, bitches. anyway I agree with your frustrations with the SG site as well. It was super slow again a couple days ago for like 3 days, and then the same sets were up for like 2 or 3 days. Weird. Anyway this girl Vivid posted a link to an "agreeable" SG alternative that she's on and she's offering up some free trials. But wait, you said you were here for the articles didn't you ?! Ha.
Ended up being able to boot Classic off my external but it is still pretty confusing to me. I mean at first it didn't work because it said I needed to have OS 9 on my computer first. So did that and then it worked and I was able to run the old Canon scanner software but I didn't get to the point where I could actually do a scan... and then it wouldn't let me quit the OS 9 apps, so that was weird. Hopefully I'll get a scan done by Monday.

Corporate America makes me sick too. I am thinking go south actually. It gets dark in England between 3:30 and 4 pm I believe just now, and it is butt ass cold. If you don't mind the weather I guess...
