It's Fall.
Not really but after that rained cooled things down by twenty degrees it's pretty fucking awesome. I like Autumn and hopes the summer doesn't overly stay. I don't even remember Autumn last year (my first back in the sticks... no wonder I thought last year sucked). I'd been stuck using three rooms of my house because the furnace is kaplowed and I was using window units to cool. Now the whole house is my playground so I can watch movies, write in my parlor (not really a parlor but I have no other name for it), paint in my studio, even go outside with the camera without the fear that I will melt.

It is a marvel to uphold. It's just what I needed to spur me into action. I actually want to use it so there's a chance I will. I hope to get a new story up soon and prepare one for Halloween as well. And then there's November, National Novel Month, where I must complete a short novel within 30 days... I've failed the past couple years (though '05 doesn't really count... I was getting Magica Residua prepared for publication).
I have a ruptured pipe coming off my water pump/well. It could be the reason the breaker kept tripping (my pump is now powered by an orange extension cord running from a well outlet in the house, out the back door and into the pump house) I wonder how much my power costs would go down if I were to fix it. The pump kicks on every twenty minutes or so to keep up pressure. I checked it out but it's gonna take some doing that I haven't been ready for. Maybe this week. I work Monday night and then I'm off three more days (on top of being off the last three days).
I also found out some info that was weighing heavy on my mind.
I've been trying to figure out what these movies were for the longest time. I remember them but not the titles. Ahem... let me clarify: I remember scenes from both (not sure if I've seen either one all the way through). Thanks to JasonVorhees for his help remembering.

HEy dude.. so great to hear from you. I have been a busy busy bee. HOpefully SG will put some more of my sets up soon. I have probablly 10-15 accepted sets in the system, four awaiting approval and another 8 out being photoshopped and prepped to turn in. did you see my one bulletin back with the photos from jacksonville tattoo convention? And btw if you have that house all to yourself it sounds like a great location to set up some SG shoots.. Send me that zip code again. HOpe you are well. And yes, i heard about Larry, I am waiting on Steve to call me back with the details.

well, new toys help sometimes eh? I used to assist a photographer in SF who shoots all the Apple products. I wasn't a regular assistant for him but I did work on quite a few things, and signed a bunch of non-disclosure agreements. saw the 1st shuffle before it came out, the keyboard I'm typing with, etc. the coolest fucking thing was for Aperture... we had a huge table full of awesome photo equipment to photograph. there was a gem-like loupe by Leitz which I really wanted to pocket. it was a 8-20x zoom I believe. I also remember fondling a Leica R9 with a 14mm rectilinear lens... it had built in color filters for b&w photography. well, there's always more equipment to buy! good luck with the writing. hope you feel inspired with your new keyboard.
