HEy dude.. so great to hear from you. I have been a busy busy bee. HOpefully SG will put some more of my sets up soon. I have probablly 10-15 accepted sets in the system, four awaiting approval and another 8 out being photoshopped and prepped to turn in. did you see my one bulletin back with the photos from jacksonville tattoo convention? And btw if you have that house all to yourself it sounds like a great location to set up some SG shoots.. Send me that zip code again. HOpe you are well. And yes, i heard about Larry, I am waiting on Steve to call me back with the details.

well, new toys help sometimes eh? I used to assist a photographer in SF who shoots all the Apple products. I wasn't a regular assistant for him but I did work on quite a few things, and signed a bunch of non-disclosure agreements. saw the 1st shuffle before it came out, the keyboard I'm typing with, etc. the coolest fucking thing was for Aperture... we had a huge table full of awesome photo equipment to photograph. there was a gem-like loupe by Leitz which I really wanted to pocket. it was a 8-20x zoom I believe. I also remember fondling a Leica R9 with a 14mm rectilinear lens... it had built in color filters for b&w photography. well, there's always more equipment to buy! good luck with the writing. hope you feel inspired with your new keyboard.

hehe. still haven't seen the Pirates shit... but Don Juan was a classic film watched repeatedly throughout my childhood. As was Zorro the Gay Blade, which resulted in some inside jokes with my bro that'll always come up randomly. so ya the photo stuff is happening, slowly, extremely slowly... but it is helpful. much better than my first 3 yrs in SF when I could afford to shoot like 2 or 3 rolls of film a year. saw a great Diane Arbus exhibit today actually (along with one of my crushes at the gallery finding your passion I have a feeling is something you've already done (what is the story anyway with your book?) it can be extremely hard to maintain it when life isn't pretty, and when your shooting 2 rolls a year.

ha, glad to hear you are enjoying Galactica... how much have you seen? don't know if I mentioned season 3 is on iTunes. I missed watching the podcasts or commentaries for Season 3. I do not recommend "Galatica Watercooler" fyi, sad very sad.

awesome... i'm sure you can find a galactica model somewhere. it is a fracking good show ain't it? and you can say, yeah I'm a big dork, I watch battlestar galactica all the time and I say frack. so whatev, frack you! it's prob the best show on tv and you're missin' out if you don't watch it. season 2 is my fav, although the whole thing is like one great movie. the end of season 3 drags a bit for me, but it is a courtroom trial they had to do.. and it is pretty well done. one of the reasons it is so good is because the actors have a lot of freedom (and they're really talented of course). there's this speech that Edward James Olmos gives about Earth and it's something he just did. it wasn't even in the script. so it's interesting to hear the commentary and how the story lines develops (cuz they really had no idea where the frack it was going).

Belated happy birthday! I never know when my friends' birthdays are, anymore, since SG changed the web page design.What can I say? The SG layout is yet another instance of something that's not as good as it used to be.

"Man on Fire" is good, but not as good as the old Schwarzenegger film "Commando," which has basically the same plot. Ah, the creativity of Hollywood.

Anyway, have a great time at the 4th of July shindig!
