My mother refuses to watch Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve since his stroke. She says it's just so sad... The man could be freakin' dead and she's upset that his speech was affected!! She's being the exact type of person that makes rehab so difficult for stroke survivors. I am amazed how well he's done and love the fact he's still rockin' in the New Year....

Thanks for the suggestions.

Hartnell would have been my second choice as favorite Doctor, but now I think Tennant is my second favorite... so hard to choose...
I had a discussion one time with someone about the unbelievable act of eating out at a restaurant, fast food or fine dining, and swore I could never do such a thing.
When you never find another person willing to break bread with you you'd be amazed how you overcome the abhorrence of eating alone in public.
Life feels like a Cymbalta ad these days.

Ok this is totally random, but I have been trying to think of the word Sociopath ALL FUCKING WEEK and I couldn't remember what the correct word was. I kept saying psychopath.
Thank you!!!
Thank you!!!

it was terrifying, to say the least.

I'm hoping though that during this time they sorted out their shit though, because I think it started before you came back on here (well not like it's new) but this site was slow as fuck for aawhhiiiile (why does that never look right??) anyway I'm tempted to go see the Mist. I'm not a huge Stephen King fan or anything but I heard its really good... and I just asked this chick out and I think it would be a good date movie. yeah, I've got that hope prob too. probably nothing will come of this... anyway I think we would be somewhat more efficient and certainly happier. that Shirley Manley thing sounds like this Buddhist based book my therapist has got me reading... the verdict is still out. The character I relate to the best is the Hell Spawn... in fact in most ways the experience of the Hell Spawn is very much like my life, or vice versa. at times it solidifies my belief in a higher power... like god likes to tease me. for instance: MBNA becomes BofA and my $30,000 is somehow mistakenly erased because I had a recent fraud claim. The new online statements are fuzzy pdfs and like a dumbass I call up and say "what's going on, it looks like I have a zero balance?". I begged the person on the phone to pretend our conversation never happened but that didn't fly. in retrospect it didn't matter because I haven't had the money since then to pay my other 2 cards anyway and now I'm filing bankruptcy and walking away from all of it. the financial woes continue though, my bankruptcy lawyer almost had to drop my case temporarily because of nonpayment.
Okay, okay, I admit it, I failed.
I didn't finish a novel during November. Didn't come close to finishing it with no guilt laid upon the timetable. In truth, I gave up long before the month ran out. It's hard to come to grips with. I could plant excuses in your minds but what it came down to is I didn't have the wherewithal to...

You can get back to the novel this month.
Anyway, Jon Peters, Guber's partner produced Batman.
I didn't see Batman Returns, but I liked Batman. Most of the films, though, that Sony released under Guber and Peters' tenure were real clinkers. There's a great book about them, "Hit and Run: How Jon Peters and Peter Guber Took Sony for a Ride in Hollywood" by Nancy Griffin. Jon Peters, in particular, is a really interesting character. I'd like to see a movie about him. In fact, I'd much rather see a movie about Jon Peters than a movie produced by Jon Peters. There's a lot of great stuff about him in the book. You should definitely check it out.

I have been failing miserably at updating my website. Every once in a while I become determined not to be a procrastinator on this... let's see how long it last this time. Sometimes I think if I had certain parts of my life where I'd like them to be, I would then be more efficient. But what can I do? Not a whole lot... take the lovely Ambrosiastar for instance. her Fiance?? What? Seriously? One of the few seriously hot friends I've met on here, and maybe 22? a few of my fav SGs have been getting married and having babies and shit too. Makes me sick.
Since I usually forget, I figured I'd come out of my self-imposed exile and mention that my anniversary is coming up. No, not with a significant other (though you could say "others," I digress) but with all the lovely Suicide Girls.

I'm also a long-time member, though you have me beat by a year. Anyway, happy anniversary.
With the twelfth ring of the hour done the Great Pumpkin retires for another year, still unseen and unheard, so that the latter Autumn makes it's way to lonely and dead winter.
I ride along with that iconic figure of Halloween, not to his place of leisure, but on a journey into my own mind. It is two hours into the first day of November,...

good god, everyone seems to be writing a novel...
hecklongtree:
Good luck. Hope you come with a good novel, but, in any case, I'm sure you'll gain something from the experience.

Hey, look; it's been three days... that means it's time for a new complaint against the site.
Not about the sets, this is the same ol' argument I've been having to make for, oh, about a year now. Click on SG, it starts to load. Click on Apple's site, loads up. Check SG, still loading. Open Webster, loads up. SG, still loading. Click on my...

Did it work?

Well, I went back through 16 rounds of emails to make sure nothing out of the way or mean was said and there was nothing!! All Biz besides the "well, if me and Elly Make it out this winter maybe we can go on a double date with you and your GF/BF and get some good California food" That was in repsonse to "Is Elly Coming out with you?" But anyway. Maybe i can Send you the Photoshop guidelines and or scripts and start having you prep some sets for me. I pay 50 bucks a set cold hard cash. Well, check.. Under the table.. Usually takes and hour to 2hrs per set to prep depending how many blimishes, razor burn and stuff like that they have. Hit me up about it. AWESome
Finished my short story this morning. Heh, short; it's sixty-some pages. I think I like it. There's still proofing and posting I need to do.
It took five days minus two for work. That should mean I can do another before November (which, of course, is National Novel Writing Month).
