Greetings friends! It's been an interesting journey for me. I moved to Virginia Beach almost 4 years ago and my job fucking sucked because I worked for the biggest asshole in the world. So, I switched divisions and things got soooooo much better! I've been on this team for almost 2 1/2 years now and the asshole got fired last month (karma does exist) so I experienced a little retro karma joy! Since I have my flow in order now with the new job/position/team I have now designed my schedule for optimum "me time" and that has brought me back to photography/videography. I sold almost all of my old gear and bought 2 new cam systems (Sony a7r ii for stills and Panasonic G85 for video). I've been taking the last couple months to learn how to use them. I've also redone my website (www.thedvsmonkey.com) but I had to use old pics cuz I haven't shot with anyone in ages. I also put my studio back together in my home office so I think I'm finally ready to start shooting YouTube videos again.
So, that's life in a nutshell. I plan on lurking around here to re-familiarize myself with the site since I'm sure there have been tons of changes. Please, stop by and say hello.
