Rant to follow, beware of mispellings, poor grammar and the usual BS.
Well, here I sit, yet again, disgusted, disillusioned, angry, etc. And here I am letting The_Dweller reappear (much to the amusement of LadyK.
I find it increasingly difficult not to be 100 percent misanthropic. I am so sick of good honest people getting shit on when all they want to do is carve out a simple slice of life to try to enjoy, me being part of that group. I'm sick of a system where degenerate pieces of shit can run roughshod over the system with hardly a second glance and a simple accusation is enough to seriously disrupt average joe's life.
How many times have you watched assholes driving 95mph crossing the center line flipping people off and nothing happens to them? Then, the one time you try to drive around some asshole with no concept of other people and 2 of your tires go into the center lane and you get pulled over. How many pieces of shit have you been unfortunate enough to be behind practically getting gassed to death and they never get pulled over and your sticker is 1 month expired and you get pulled over by a piece of shit cop with an attitude that spotted said sticker from 5 cars and 2 trees back?! You get my point!
How many cops in recent weeks have you read/watched about that have raped/brutalized/killed/etc and nothing happens to them. They get put on administrative leave WITH PAY while the investigation of the allegations are looked into. How about the cops in NYC that have been proven beyond ANY doubt that they were hired killers for the mob and nothing really happened to them because of the statue of limitations!!?? How many politicians have done countless amounts of horrific shit with nothing more than 2 minutes on CSPAN?! How many freakin luncatic celebrities have . . . okay, you get the idea.
I am seriously saddened that nice people have become the exception rather than rule. Almost everyday I say to myself (and a lot of times to LadyK - - - thanks sweetie), "you know, I'm convinced that nice guys finish last. I really should just start being a fucking dick to everyone and maybe I'll get ahead. But for the most part I just can't do it. And I don't want to feel that I'll have to spend the rest of my life getting shit on all the time. Sometimes I don't want to be the gadget freak and I want to get rid of everything and just retreat into the mountains somewhere and just maybe run the risk of being eaten by a wild animal. I couldn't fault the animal since it's just survival instinct, not like piece of shit humans that would fuck me over for two bits.
If anyone else agrees with me, tell me so in the ol' journal. If anyone disagrees with me (in my deepest I don't care cuz I'm a misantropic asshole voice) go fuck yourself!
