Today I took Oxalis to a Jewelry/Fashion/Accessory show in Rosemont. It was really cool to see her run around like a kid in a candy store seeing all the bling! However, she claims it was because she didn't have breakfast, she ate from a community dip bowl. 
As we left the show and were walking back to the parking garage I looked up and noticed a kind of twisted graveyard.
There were others but this one was the most striking.
And last but not least, my favorite picture of the day, and also my strange "fetish" if you will.

Everyday life IS the biggest thing of all, but it takes a peculiar perspective on life to really see that and to not be blinded by the big shiny things (like diving, yes, or trips to Europe, or whatever it may be that seems so appealing and out-of-the-ordinary), but to also see that little things like a squirrel eating almonds out of your hands or a full moon hanging over the city skyline can be the most amazing things there are.
