So, the installer got to my condo at like 9 AM and left at 7 freakin PM. Did he finish?! NO!!! 
His nail gun broke pretty early on and he couldn't fix it so he had to hand nail. Then he swears they sent the wrong parts for the handle/lock and foot lock. So he has to come back tomorrow morning and rip out the trim he put in today so he can redo the foot lock and hopefully he can get the parts to do the stupid handle lock. If not, he has to come back yet again! 
Don't get me wrong . . . he was a nice guy and his equipment problems weren't his fault, but, he didn't really know what he was doing. He actually had to take out the directions to put the doors in and he couldn't figure out the locks because they didn't come with directions!
Oh well, at least the damn doors are in before the weather turns to shit over the next couple of days. And since I did laundry tonight the heat from the dryer jacked the temperature up pretty quickly.
Oh, and, snuggling rules!

Apparently Home Depot is trying to pass this buck to me! They are trying to say that I didn't order a lock and handle to accept the lock. I kindly pointed out that in my initial order and the final paperwork I was given that it clearly states that I requested a lockset. Even the installer who came back this morning talked to them and said that it was ridiculous to think I would order a "lock cylinder" and not want a lock and a handle to accept the lock and that the vendor should pay for the additional materials and for the return trip to have it all installed. Now I have to wait another month for the parts to come in before I can have this finished. What is it that many people say to me . . . Ahh the joys of home ownership! 
BUT, I can see out my doors without a dirty film of sludge in between the panes of glass!
