.hot damn i love thems truck stops in the middle of night..the dirty stench of deisel..low roar of those warm engines idlin'..brite lights of the oasis on ahead, evidence that the road must end somewhere beyond the exit ramp..and on intrepid into the infinite of the interstate..

.and those lonely rest stops..dull silence broken by the brake lights and flush of toilet..that pissing in the middle of nowhere is somehow better, more satisfying..

..west into sunsets..wide eyes into horizons..navigating into night and stars..exciting to see the first peaks peeking out of foothills..

..leave it all behind..for the love of mountains, the interest of mystery in the adventure..dont look back, except for her..always look to her. she has inspired it all..hard so far away, yet all the miles that her smile follows so close..
