The last few months of 2019 were like a shot gun to the face, if I'm being honest. It felt like it was one thing after another that just wasn't going right. Defeated was a feeling that was starting to become a norm, and my motivation to do anything was pretty much gone. I was happy to just hibernate and wait for the pieces to fall into place. Mix that with the frenzy of Christmas, and my head was a swirl of sugar plums and stress. And then next thing I knew, I blinked and somehow it's almost February.
I am a firm believer that January is like a warm up. You know, it's the month you make all your resolutions and get ready to get going on them. You set you goals for your year and maybe you even switch your focus. But at the end of it all, nothing ever seems ready to go in January. It's not until February that things really start going, or at least that's how it is for me. January is always feels like I am still recovering from the holiday hangover. One day it's January 5th and the next, somehow, it's January 15th. Or it feels like it's February already and it's only January 8th. Whatever it is, dates and time have no relevance in January.
The nice thing about January being warm up month for kicking ass in the New Year, is that it was also a cool down and reset month for me after dealing with whatever test the universe was throwing my way to end 2019. It's given me the time to sit back and relax and reassess my goals and my direction. I've been putting in a lot of work behind the scenes so that I can bring a whole bunch of new fun to your screen.
Get ready to see me a lot more, and a lot more of me. 😉
