So about six months ago my fiance and I decided to get a dog. She went to the animal shelter and went gaga for a Boston Terrier. We loved the lil' guy, and adopted him. He was a real good people person, and our son loved him dearly. He was quite jumpy, but that didn't bother me. She hated that about him. She also wanted to get rid of him, after she was the one who wanted to buy him so bad. I started to fall in love with the dog after not having one for about 12 years.
Yesterday she let him off his leash/ chain in our open backyard. I understand that dogs like and need to run free, but if our backyard isn't entirely fenced off why set him free? He tried to get away, and did for quite some time.
So that was yesterday. Why after him getting away yesterday, would you do the same thing again today?
I think she did it on purpose, but I told her no more dogs. I hope she doesn't think we would just replace him. And we had our first dog training class tonite. What the hell.
Unfortunately He hasn't came back today, and I'm worried. I have been without a dog so long that I forgot what it was like. On top of him not coming back, his name tag fell of the other day and we had yet to put it back on him. Dam!
Look how happy our son is with him.

Check the shelters daily, along with the newspaper and craiglists. Sometimes people find dogs and report them instead of taking them to the shelter. Also if you get him back, get him a microchip. It goes in the skin and is permanent and if he enters a shelter they can contact you.

Oh no! Did you find the dog? Thanks for the tip about my headaches. I am used to having caffine and with my new "diet" I cut out sodas. So that could be the source too!
