with all due respect to Karol the man, who lived better than most and was, without a doubt, a good person...

Is popefest nearly over? I find this more frustrating than the orgy of grief and historical revisionism over Reagan.

Look, this guy was head of the world's most powerful institution dedicated to a merciful god's unconditional love. An institution with millions of adherents, billions...

antimony:
i know, i'm getting old right?
antony:
not saying Lloyd and his buddies ain't knowledgable when it comes to DJing goth nights with capital C Conservatism, but when that guy DJs 4 nights a week, his CD collection gets old FAST. There's absolutely no difference between his Darkrave night and his Retro night from his Fet nights. And I'm saying this cos I get a better set from prerecorded material in Pheonix.

I mean, I've been a seasonal "supporter of the Scene" whatever for 3 years and I'm getting sick of Lloyd already. He's a nice guy when you hang out with him after the club scene, but when people sitting on the side are telling you "you think YOU've heard that set already? We've been hearing this collection since 1996!" you wonder why you paid $12.

I like Osaze. He gets the floor packed on Thursday nights in Velvet, deals with requests well and all, but for some reason Lloyd fired him from doing Funhaus without notice.

Have you talked to a bank about a mortgage? Do you have any idea how much they will give you? It is insane. Take half of what they offer. Apparently they charge you for the rope you use to hang yourself.

We spun into a ditch at 30m/s (that's 100'/s for those south of the border). 60mph. 100km/h and we are pirouetting up I79 in...

Endless ages since I last updated. It has been time well spent with tomfoolery, skullduggery, geekery and spelunking in abundance.

If you are in the toronto area and like interactive art, there are things you must check out. The first is the Low Hanging Fruit exhibit at Deleon White gallery out Queen and Dovercourt way. The second is Interaccess - especially if you want to...

Hi there.. just got your email.

I'm not staff here and have nothing to do with how SG is run. You should email help@suicidegirls.com -- they will be able to answer your question and they respond quickly.

I'm sorry to hear about Woolfmoon98.

(evolved from a letter... thanks for your insight O)

The manifestation of privacy and slander is changing, paradoxically becoming more abstract and more personal at the same time. One of the best things about this community is the way the SGs relate to the image they present. It feels like a good and empowering thing. I like the way it reflects in their language and...

I tried to vaccum one of my cats once. It didn't work out well for either of us.

awesome bumping into you as well :]

yeh, we wound up leaving early wednesday, though got to tool around toronto a bit and take a few (hundred) pics in the process, so all was good with the world.

sorry we didn't get around that way on sunday, i think we went the mellow evening route. it's all a blur after the white knuckle flight in a plane that was probably powered by bottle rockets, heh

i get addicted to songs . when something is great, i feel an intense desire to hear it two or three times in quick succession every 8 hours or so.

right now it is "combat baby" by metric. last week(ish), "charlotte sometimes" and before that just everything by the pixies (again).

i love jon stewart. It's not fresh, but i think it improves with age....
