So i went on a 40 mile bike ride yesterday. It was lots of fun. We started in Chesterbrook and biked all over the hills of wayne, devon, treddyfrin, etc. I even fell over one time (stuipd clipless pedals not giving my foot back quick enough) I was told by one of the old-heads riding with the group that i fell correctly and slowly (how do you fall slowly??
) no brusing or bleeding and no pain so the falling wasn't that bad. (just really embarrassing) Everyone i talked to said it happend to them at one point or another.
Right now i'm wasting time before i head out for a 30 mile ride today.
Today's ride is from the Art Museum to the main line and then lunch in Cosohoken <sp?>
It shouldbe lots of fun.
I love my new bike. I just got it back from keswick cycle on friday and by the end of today i will have put over 100 miles on it.
Oh yeah after i get home from the 30 mile ride on my road bike i will be loading up the car rack with my mountain bike to ride the trails at valley forge with my girlfriend. My ass is going to hurt like a motherfucker tomorrow. (but it's a good nurt right?)
I think i am going to try a century (100 miles) at some point this summer. If i can hang on the century i think i am going to try doing a double metric century (200K ~120 miles)
Don't you wish you could be like me?
