So apparently getting a response email saying that everything is ok with my account means that my account will be suspended within the month..... I'm so confused.

But i'm back now. I'm paid up for another year so you can look forward to my sporadic posting about my bike for antoher year. (not that anyone really reads this anyway)

So my Bank/SG problem is a non-problem. (see previous entry for more info)

SG has their money so everything is A-OK with them.

Now I wonder if my old bank is gonna track me down and make me pay them the cash plus some rediculous fee. I will refuse to pay any fees, they should have denied the pament request and then let me deal...

oops.

I made a mistake. blush

I gave SG my bank info last year, and signed up for automatic renewal, then i closed the account 3 months before the renewal was due and totally forgot that SG was gonna take their money. But now a month after i was supposed to renew my account is active and nothing seems awry.

I just submitted a help request...

You bad boy!

I should probably start worrying about that stuff now, too. I mean I have to make sure there's money available to take. That's a lot of cash all at once.

I heard your NYE party was a good one... especially the surprise in the oatmeal box. tongue

I'm feeling better. Well, most better, yes. Thank you. Although I've recently gone back to retail beased work and I've forgotten how painful it is to throw around boxes all day. Man....I am getting to old for this kind of stuff.

Good luck with your appointment!!!!
evilflapjack:
Dude, you should just title your journal "Musings of an unlucky biker boy"

or something.

I must say they're quite entertaining, though I do feel for you and hope you get better soon!

So yeah. I haven't updated here in a while.

I just don't get online much at home anymore and work just is too busy for me to properly keep up to date on things in SG land.

I'll try to update more.

So it had to eventually happen. I crashed my bike this morning. frown
Story goes like this (copy-posted from my live journal)

Well this morning I was biking down a hill. Hammered through the yellow light in the middle.
I saw a pedestrian enter the road from between two cars.
Yelled
Tried to dodge.
Barely clipped him.
Went down (probably doing 30 mph, bike computer says...

I did it ...

I signed up to ride from the Art Museum to Brooklyn. (125 miles)

I'm gonna die.

And to add more pain to the mix I signed up to do a Century (100 miles) ride one week from the NYC ride.

So if i'm a little slow and sore and sit down very gigerly in the beginning of September you know why.

goob:
wow, that's cool.

last year someone was trying to convince me to do the ride to the shore. I considered it, but decided it was more trouble than I could handle.
apocalypse_dude:
that just sounds nuts
i dont even like driving 125 miles in car
i rode to my parents home in central jersey from philly many years ago.
it was the most painful ride ever and took way longer than it should have.
but it was fun either way
good luck with the rides biggrin

What purpose does poison ivy serve?

It's evil.

I found the rash on my right arm on tuesday night. maybe like 5-10 little bumps with two larger bumps. I have been very careful not to scratch it and put caladryl on it. Now i have like 25 little bumps (plus the two bigger bumps) on my right arm and i now am finding smallish bumps...

An observation:

Poop smell and Coffee smell do not mix together well. It makes the poop smell even worse and the previously good smell of coffee really bad.

I am forever doomed to remember this horrid smell everytime i smell coffee now. Thank you Men's room at work.

X-posted to my livjournal (am maybe my MySpace journal too, everyone must know about the poop/coffee combo)

I'm such a loser.

I bailed on the SGPhilly thing that happened over the weekend. I suck. frown

Soopid being tired and (falsely) thinking i needed to be up early the next day...

Sorry to have missed it.

It was probably a blast.
goob:
I missed it, too... but I was hanging out with a couple dozen Krawchuks and Honorary Krawchuks down in Maryland... it was a BLAST.

If only I could be two places at once. whatever
