Well, supposedly today is SG poetry day, so I guess I'll put up something uber early, so here's something I wrote last week.
Your silence screams that fatal word
Upon your weak and broken breath
The cold breaks through my shattered soul
I kiss your lips and pray for death
Your eyes are dark
Much like the sky
I stare at you
And wonder why
Your hands are limp
Your body's cold
I gave you my heart
Now it's sold
Off to the place where sadness creeps
And fills the blood that's in your lips
I pull myself away from this
I'm scarred
I'm scared
You're sacred there
Just in the moonlight
No one cares
I touch your lips to try again
The death won't come
I'm caving in
To the slender shiver of everything in it
You have the last sliver of our minute...
