And I'm FINALLY back online.

Oh my GOD what a fucking NIGHTMARE moving was.

It's a long story, but let me say this;

1) I'm getting out of this house as soon as possible

2) The time has come for me to MAKE THINGS HAPPEN, rather than let them happen

3) I'm SO ready for the next level.

Good to be back.

Can't cook and am not as confident about giving hand jobs as I would like to be. tongue
My skills are quite passable in most other aspects. Oh yeah, can't rollerblade.

Moving today. Might not have internet access (at home) for a bit, so I might not be able to get to SG.

Back once I get this sorted out!

Well I have to say that I really enjoyed my trip to Baltimore and Annapolis! Even though it rained the ENTIRE weekend, including raining out the gig I was supposed to play, I had a really good time. Seems to me like a mix of colonial style and dirty urban grit. I wonder if I would enjoy living there. The roads are definitely rough, would...

Scooters on those potholes seem like not so great of an idea. I do miss the northeast sometimes though (though I guess that would technically be more midlantic...)

Bal'more is a gritty but wonderful place. I never cared for Annapolis much. I am glad you had a good time on the right coast. The valley huh? I will refrain from making valley jokes. wink

I'm off to the east coast for the weekend. Looking forward to seeing spring there, and actually some rain!

I get back Monday and immediately start moving. Going back to Sherman Oaks, where the weather is hot! As mentioned, this is a very temporary move, perhaps one or two months.

Major decisions to be made at that time. Good ones.

It's time to point my...

yay! East Coast! and good luck with the move. I just finished moving ( I'm in Larchmont village now, *yay*) and all settled, but trying to get things from one place to another is always a hassle. x's Moxi

Well, it looks like I'm going back to the Valley for a few months. Farther away from everything than I really want to be, but the price is right. Will be moving there next week. Thanks to you SG people who have either tipped me onto some opportunities or discussed moving in with me; too bad all of those things fell through.

All the potential...

I have to find a new place to live by 5/7. Goodbye Hollywood.

I am working on a job opportunity with Piaggio (parent company of Vespa) that might relocate me to New York or Long Beach.

My Detroit friends are very close to making a move to buy a nightclub. They want me to run it. So, Detroit is a possibility.

There are plenty of...

Don't move back to Detroit. With all the new job lay offs nobody can afford to go out to a night club.

I'm gonna get political for one second here:

Bill Maher: The GOP - Divorced From Reality

And to lighten the load - sit through all 10 minutes of this and it'll show you what rock and roll is really all about:

Listen to the bass. Fucking CRUSHING.

Strangely, the video and the article are related thematically.

I'm happy this morning. wink

EDIT:

Happy except for one...

The best part of The Who, for me, has always been Daltrey's pipes. That aside they are rock. They are no Jam...but oh well. wink

That is one of the albums that is banned from the car stereo. It's just waaay to expensive for me to listen to it while I'm driving.

As to the Bill Maher, he is correct (as he usually is). I do think the nation suffers when one of the two parties falls into incompetence (especially the complete, mind numbingly bonkers style favored by the far right fringe). Then again, I've also been thinking that we're due for a political realignment of the sort that happened when the Whigs went away.

Now that I have found you
And the cool warmth of your evening smile
will shade like a parasol
And your love flows through me
Though I drink at your pool
I burn for you, I burn for...

You and I are lovers
When night time folds around our bed
In peace we sleep entwined
And your love flows through me
Though an ocean soothes...

I think that sometimes it takes a special person to show you things about yourself that maybe you never fully realized. Apologies for being so philosophical today, just sorting important things out, ya dig?

As far as Happy Jack..well it is one of my favorite songs ever, not just Who tunes and I had been messing around listening to happy songs all afternoon yesterday.

As far as the compliment on the picture, thank you so much.

Enjoy your weekend, I hope to talk to you soon.
