Headed back to LA today after nearly 3 weeks on the road. I'm ready. The melancholy that always seems to accompany a trip back to Detroit is pestering me. Now it's time to breathe deep, focus, and reinvent myself again.

I am back from the UK. What an amazing place. A serious throwback in time in some things, very progressive and forward-thinking in other things. I absolutely loved it. Pics to come.

I'm about halfway through my vacation in the UK. Relaxing in the north of Wales after a few days in London and outskirts. Tomorrow - Liverpool. Tuesday - Brighton. Then back to London for a couple of days before heading to Detroit for five days. I am absolutely loving this place!

The Rejuvenation Machine experience was pretty awesome! I really enjoyed the kind of "Burning Man Junior" type of experience. The sound in there is amazing.

This is my last blog before heading to England, so I may not be able to check in for awhile. I'll take pics and post my experiences when I get to a friendly computer. Here we go!

Today I am going to the Rejuvenation Machine.

I finally gave in and bought a cheap camera. Better than my cellphone camera, but not that much better.

Less than a week now until my UK trip. Who will meet up with me for a pint?

I'll be in London and environs, Brighton, North Wales, Liverpool, Bath, and Coventry.

After that, I'll be in Detroit July 2-6. More drinking.

This morning's surreal dream: As I was loading three trays of assorted meats and jellies onto a little red wagon, I had the opportunity to reach into a department store window and steal one of those super-cool vintage televisions, the kind with the screen on a separate swivel-type stand on top of the receiver. But, I didn't do it.

4 days in London
4 days in Wales
