As for the birthday, the only thing I'm happy about is that it's over. Because I just found out that a lot of the bullshit could've been totally avoided if my sister had just spoken up. so I'm just biding time. She owes me a lot at this point because she didn't even give me a gift or a card. >>

I try not to get too involved in the politics of this site, but it is kinda crappy about the layoff of some of the staff photographers. I'm convinced that it was a purely financial move rather than a comment on the quality of their work and the girls they worked with, even though management said publicly it was a quality issue. Layoffs DO happen....

So I finally got a smartphone, a Samsung Nexus S 4G. It is really fast and responsive, and I got a helluva deal on it from Sprint. So, my mobile technology is now pretty up to date. I hope I start using it to its fullest potential and not use it to play Words With Friends all the time.
