I have this weird superstition about new year's eve.

If I go out that night, whoever I'm with - that person or people is/are not a part of my life anymore by the next NYE. For whatever reason, we drift apart. It sucks.

So, in an effort to keep my loved ones close, I will be barricading myself from live human contact after about 8pm tonight, until tomorrow morning.

I bet you I'll have a cocktail or two here at the house, and MAY leave another drunken blog.
