If you really think about it, there is no more perfect food than pizza.

If it's done right, of course.

I don't mean these nonsense pizzas with pineapple and cous cous. I mean:

Thin crust.

Tomato sauce.

Da mozzarell'.

Da pepperon'.

That's really all you need.

Last night I went to Casa Bianca Pizza Pie in Eagle Rock. LA people know what I'm talking about. If you're visiting here, you must stop by and get a pie. Don't bother to eat anything else on the menu, their food sucks other than the pizza. There's usually about an hour wait (there's a great bar next door) and they only take cash. But....talk about a slice of heaven.
