God it's been like 3 weeks. Time for a succinct update:
My hand has healed up nicely. I seem to have full mobility but it does get sore a little easier than it used to. I suppose it'll get better after a bit.
My job has been changed out from underneath me. Basically a guy quit from the main site, and because of the current economic climate being the way it is, they didnt want to hire a replacement for him only to have to make him redundant if things go further downhill. Instead they've relocated me, given me an easier (but more annoying) job with less responsibility, at a closer site that'll save me money on petrol, and all for the same money I was on before. WIN
I've been off work since last Saturday on a glorious holiday of laziness. Unfortunately I missed the Newcastle meet because I had family visiting. I was glad to find the cousin I've not seen in about 8 years hasnt turned into a prick. Since last weekend I've been playing a shitload of Fallout 3, Dead Space and watching Deadwood.
Also went to Blackpool last night to see Sigur Ros. Awesome awesome gig but i hate Blackpool and will never return. It's all grey and horrible like Children of Men. Also for the first time in 10 years of going to gigs I had somebody complain about me being too tall and tried to demand I leave my friends and go stand off on my own somewhere else so he could see better. Christ knows whether he actually expected me to do it, but I don't care because I could see just fine
Got a date for my guitar exam. It's on December 14th which is about 3 weeks later than my tutor expected so that gives me a bit more time to try and be less shit. Hooray

good luck with the guitar exam, i have been so slack on that. although im only interested in banging out some chords and light finger work.. still should get some time in.
Blackpool is depressing as its a place dwelling in its past. blow it up and build a monorail.
