i totally agree with your statement about mental health workers being heroes. my brother has schizoaffective disorder and every day is a challenge because saying the wrong thing or even handing him the wrong colour lighter can set him off. i can only imagine at times what he has said or how he has reacted towards psychs or counselors, especially as he believes there is nothing wrong with him and that he doesn/t need medication.
