Apparently, or so I'm told. Louis Armstrong himself referred to him as "That cat from England that can really wail" That's high praise. High praise indeed. Even Radiohead thought that he could wail so good that he guested on one of their albums.
I only ever knew him on this show. He's had me howling with laughter until the tears ran down my cheeks. His "Samantha" jokes are the stuff of legend.
Like him really.
