Ok new MOVIE REVIEW:
This time im gonna review the movie "THE MONSTER SQUAD" (1987)
Well the movie starts out with a scene of Van Helsing the famous vampire hunter attacking Dracula's castle and failing at the attempt to destroy him. Then the movie cuts to the present time showing a group of kids who spend there free time talking about monsters. They're into monsters so much that they even have a club which later becomes the "Monster Squad". Well one day the main character and leader of the club, Sean comes home to find his mom has bought him a book at a garage sale, the dairy of Van Helsing. At this same time strange things starts happening throughout the town and you see Dracula rounding up some monster friends of his to conquer the world. But when the kids find out about this they decide they must put a stop to it. So for the rest of the film you'll see a bunch of scenes with the kids fighting the monsters and eventually leading up to a final battle.
I would recommend this this movie to anyone looking for a fun horror movie. as with "The Gate" i would say this movie isnt scary and would call it a family type horror.
Even though its not scary i still enjoyed it very much and would say if you ever find yourself with the opportunity to watch it, do so.
I would give it a 4/5 star rating. Only because some of the stuff is a little cheesy even for a film aimed at a younger audience.
