the1nonly

this week i've been on vacation. it's the week before i go back to grand valley, and so i decided to take off from all 3 of my jobs. i was hoping to get a lot done... and i guess i did, but not as much as i had planned on. my garage/yard/more-like-driveway-sale did happen. yesterday i got 1 customer and made 6.50. today i had about 15 (?) and made 40 bucks. and i might make another 20 or 25 (might be selling my tv/vcr). but the thing is, i hardly got rid of anything. i still have a basement & room full of shit. so, i need to work on this more... i'm cleaning my room tonight. so, that will get done.

but i didn't get to be lazy, like i thought i'd get to be. i did go out a few times. i hung out with some friends. i met new people (well, really only 1). i drank. i walked. i bought my school books. i guess i sort of did a lot (now that i'm writing it all down) but it didn't feel like it. and i was sort of excited to get back into "school-mode". now i'm just not ready. but, come monday i will be. you better believe it.

so, my vacation's gonna go out with a big bang after the weekend that's planned. my roommate & i are FINALLY gonna be visiting our former roommate (& close friend) in wisconsin. tomorrow we embark on our journey -- the 2 1/2 hour trip across lake michigan (by ferry). i'm excited to go. to spend quality time with lindsey. to get out of grand rapids. to relax. to see amanda. to meet new people. yes, all of that. i just can't wait.

so, with that being said, i am going to go now. finish getting some things done around here. get some sleep. and try to enjoy my last few days of "freedom" before it's back to the books, and punching the clock.
