Two weeks until surgery. I'm hurting tonight, and don't really want to be awake. However, I'm on this weird schedule of sleeping for five hours, being awake for six, and sleeping for five hours again, so there isn't much I can do. When I get sleepy, I pretty much pass out. I feel like a horrible mother because my daughter isn't seeing much of me, but it's so goddamn hard for me to do anything right now.
My hubby is being wonderful, though. I have a firm promise from him that I may beat him senseless if he doesn't help me work on re-arranging the bedroom today, and I plan on taking him up on it. Yesterday he also surprised me by getting into the shower with me and washing my hair...it was heaven. My arms get shaky when I try to wash this mop of hair that I've got, and just standing there under the spray while he massaged my scalp was so wonderful.

Pain BAD! GO AWAY!
No, seriously, I hope things get better for you (or at least subside!) sooner than the surgery. My dad goes under the knife (not for a hysterectomy...but, you get my drift LOL) on 1/21...tis the season to be cut open, I guess. xo
