The day got so much better after I left work yesterday. I went to my bar and had a couple beers with a friend of mine from my Creative Writing class last semester. We wanted to keep in touch so we make sure to do something every Tuesday. She had to head home early so I played pool with some of the guys who were...

I have only random thoughts today:

Every time we learn something new, it leaves a fresh wrinkle on our brain. I wonder if people we meet and take the time to learn a litle something about leave the same kind of wrinkles. If they do then that person is always with us, engraved on our mind. So when someone dies or someone leaves us otherwise...

Interest thought...that's why I'm here on SG .... to get some wrinkles on my brain by meeting some interesting peoples! Actually, this quick random thought will probably stick when I meet somebody new now!

Today I went on a 4 mile hike. It hurts and I'm tired. My legs are calling me dirty names, but I don't care because this is the first time I've been able to do things like that since I hurt my knee and landed in a wheel chair back in August. So go me. I climbed a freaking mountain and now I'm going to...

My weekend so far:

Friday: Went bowling and drinking then got ditched by my ride so I had to stay until the bar closed drinking soda and coffee so I could drive home. But, I got to play pool, even though I'm horrible, and I scored a 99 bowling, which is awesome considering I haven't been in 5 years because of my shoulder.

Saturday: Watched...

We had the strangest storm last night. It was mostly over the lake but extended out on the sides a bit. The wind kept circling and there was hail the size of marbles. The rain came down in between so heavy that I was completely soaked in the 10ft from my car to the front door. The lightning was absolutely gorgeous and the clouds were...

I wish we had storms like that here. I love lightening, but we don't get it all that often.

I think I am an adaptable creature that tries to controls the things in my life.

We had a weird storm this week too. I'm in Montana for the week... been planning it for months. I was totally excited to finally get to do a nude photoshoot at a ghost town. Then Monday night a storm comes through and we get 6 inches of SNOW! The nearby town that has a very primitive ghost town in the mountains got 20 INCHES! That seems like a lot of snow for May. So much for all my outdoor plans for the week. The snow is mostly gone now, and I have a shoot planned for tomorrow morning with two women that want to do some nudes on horseback. If its not raining too hard. Should be interesting.

Hmm, Control... When I was your age, I seriously believed that it was possible to live to be 300 years old. But to do so, one would have to practice Yoga, meditate, etc, to have complete control over their mind and body. I soon realized that the physical part wasn't as difficult as the mental. I still believe that physically the body could live that long, but few people have the self-control to do what is needed. Including me. So now I learn to adapt to what I've let myself change into from the lack of will.

No Seattle for me. I waited two hours and my train never showed. At two in the morning, in the cold, I decided that it wasn't worth it, went home and went to bed. My choice but brought on by a sucky circumstance. Oh well. At least it's Lost in the 50's and I can stare at old cars.

Random thought of the day:
Bees...

So, off to Seattleness on a midnight train. I don't have to wait the 5 hours I thought I did either. My glorious doppleganger is buying me a bus ticket so I can at least wait around his house and not a city I've never been to. I'm so excited. I need this and when I get back I get to start working a second...

I completely agree. I noticed this one house in my town that put an addition on and painted it an obnoxious pink....mind you the rest of the house is lime green? Maybe they are color blind?

Life is really looking up lately. It's been beautiful the past couple days and I broke out my hula hoop. The next step is the bike. Time for Baby and I to brave the highways and crazy drivers to tone my body's winterness into bikini ready summerness.
I got one of my stories published; in a very small, "trendy" mag that's just starting out, but...

Last night was one of the most incredible solitude. It's been so long since I've just gone out by myself.
I went to yoga, cursing my twisted body the whole time, yet loving the sensations as well. Then to Mick Duff's for a lovely glass of wine and a vegetarian rueben. Heaven! Then to the old movie theater to watch Letters from Iwo Jima. NOw...
