The picture.. the dress.. and some heart felt messages have really helped me focus on the positives, and push past the horrible things that have occurred this month!
This weekend just gone was a long weekend, in celebration of Australia Day. My weekend pretty much started on Wednesday with Trivia down on the Gold Coast.
Thursday night we went and saw Labrynth at the Globe (vintage theatre). I don't have the connection to the film from childhood.. so I really disliked it.
Friday (Australia Day). I dyed my hair a turquoise-ish colour. Took Peanut to a bbq at a friends, where he played the whole time with a gorgeous Boxer X pup! They played so well together, and Peanut cried when she left.
I then headed over to CrazyJadles place. Hung around there for a bit but the heat was really too much by that stage. Homeward bound to the air con and more booze consumption.
A lot of Saturday was spent sleeping and relaxing. Rook came up with a perfect idea for a pool party. So the big inflatable pool was blown up and filled with illegal water. We're on very high level water restrictions - but this heat is just too much, and well.. we're fucking rebels!
_Indigo_, Lexiphanic, Reshizzle, Leothedriver, Rook, Dah and myself got up to much mischief and watery fun! You can check out the images at flickr.
Sunday night I cooked a feed for Leothedriver, Lexiphanic, _Indigo_, CrazyJadles and Dah. One of my favourites - creamy pesto chicken fettucini with semi dried tomato's! Yum!!!

Today I booked my flights for Melbourne and Sydney. To all the kids in Melbourne - I'll be in your lovely town on the 15th of Feb! To the Sydney kids, I have a VERY brief stay in Sydney from the 19th to the 20th feb!
