Seriously...a month since I've had time to get on SG! *sigh*
Medical school is still quite hard! We're half way through the semester though...which means half way done with anatomy...for which I am immensely grateful! The exams so far have been going pretty well. I've Actually gotten high Bs and As on all of them so far! I've been studying my ass off though! Like I haven't gotten to sleep before midnight once since classes started! Now...I used to work ALL the time...and generally didn't sleep a lot...but for some reason I'm a TON more exhausted than I've ever been before! I'm blaming it on the fact that school involves a LOT more thinking pretty much all of the time! Yea, apparently I could run on autopilot as a paramedic...but I sure as hell can't do it in med school! Oh well...
On the plus side: 1) Next weekend I get to goto Vegas! Yes, Vegas...and the best part...I'm completely excused from school AND they're paying for my hotel..and I'll pretty much eat for free. I LOVE medical conferences! 2) Thanksgiving! All of my good friends here at school are sticking around, and my friend Constance's parents are coming down. So we're gonna make a HUGE meal at her house. Sounds like its gonna involve me and Constance's dad in the kitchen drinking and cooking all day! Should be a good time! 3) I have a woman...yes, a woman. I realize that at one point I sorta said that I didn't want to get into a relationship...it sorta just happened. She's great though! Also a med student. We spend the bulk of our time together either studying or just hanging out. Its been...two months now, so we're coming up on the point where I usually start to freak out...so we'll have to see how things go from here!
